Phil and Jenny commenced their Real Estate careers back in 1980 & 1982 respectively with Syfrets. Phil was formerly in Hotel & Catering management with the Southern Sun Group of Hotels, Unilever S.A. and De Beers Lesotho Mining Co. Jenny is a qualified commercial teacher having specialized in accounting and business economics. In October 1985, Phil and Jenny Hodgson started the husband and wife partnership known as Hodgson & Hodgson Estate Agents. The business has grown from strength to strength as their referral base has expanded over the past 25years. Over the past twenty years they have maintained their market share in their area. Their Berea office is based at 46 Overport Drive specializing in properties in Morningside, Berea, Glenwood, Glenmore, Carrington Heights and Sherwood.

Phil and Jenny are assisted in the business by their son Dean, ex Kearsney College, and Claire, ex Durban Girl’s College. Cole Hodgson is currently at Clifton College - Durban. Over the past 25 years hundreds of properties have been bought and sold through Hodgson & Hodgson.
